Malcolm Arnold Prep School is a warm and welcoming primary school in Northampton, offering a world-class education for children aged 4-11.
We are unique as we seek to combine the best of the Independent sector, with the focused and modern approach taken by the state sector.
There is a heavy emphasis on creativity and opportunities, thereby preparing pupils for the modern world.
At Malcolm Arnold Prep School, we are continually striving to excite and motivate our pupils through a rich and inspiring curriculum. We are committed to supporting each child to reach their full academic potential, but more than that, we want to enable our pupils to experience memorable and enchanting moments that will enrich their learning. There is an exciting blend of an aspirational culture which focuses on high academic achievement, with a nurturing side which supports pupils and develops their perseverance when embracing each new challenge.
At our school, we set high standards for our pupils and expect them to take pride in their behaviour, appearance and their attitudes to learning. We encourage children to foster positive relationships with each other, to be kind and courteous and develop lively and enquiring minds, as well as the social skills to do well in society. We are proud to be a Church of England school and we believe passionately in our 6 virtues that we as a school practice throughout each day.
This is an exciting time for Malcolm Arnold Prep School. In July 2017, our school was rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted in recognition of the high standards of our learning provision. Being part of the David Ross Education Trust means that we also have access to a range of enrichment and sporting opportunities and resources that many schools outside the Trust are unable to offer.
I feel very privileged to lead the talented and committed team at Malcolm Arnold Prep School and the partnership it provides with parents and families, the local community and beyond.
We look forward to welcoming you to our school very soon where you can see for yourself everything we can offer our pupils.
Mr Simon Northcott
