DRET Sport Health and Wellbeing Morning November 2024
Health and Wellbeing Morning at Malcolm Arnold Preparatory School
On the 25th of November 2024, Mr. Alex Green and Mrs. Malwina Le Voi from the DRET Sport Team led a Health and Wellbeing Morning at Malcolm Arnold Preparatory School. The event, aimed at Key Stage 1 pupils, focused on teaching Year 1 and Year 2 students the importance of personal hygiene and making healthy breakfast choices.
The morning kicked off with the DRET Horizon Celebration Assembly for Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Key Stage 1 (KS1). During the assembly, pupils were celebrated for their achievements during Autumn Term 1. EYFS children were recognised for their progress in essential early movement patterns, while Year 1 and Year 2 students were praised for their efforts in stability units.
A special highlight of the assembly was the visit from Horizon, the DRET Sport mascot, who joined in the celebrations and shared in the joy of the pupils’ successes. Horizon is always a welcome guest at the school, helping to encourage and motivate students as they celebrate their accomplishments.
The Health and Wellbeing Morning was not only a chance to reflect on personal achievements but also an opportunity to promote positive habits and healthy lifestyles among young learners. It was a day filled with learning, celebration, and inspiration, marking a memorable occasion for both students and staff.
DRET Sport is excited to announce that they are looking forward to delivering more engaging events throughout the remainder of the academic year.
