Watch our new build progress

It has been a busy few months as the construction of a brand new school building for Malcolm Arnold Preparatory School (MAPS) has begun.

Each week a group of children visit the site to see the progress of the build so far and to learn more about the science, technology, engineering and maths behind the construction.

Marie Lally, Headteacher, said: “This is such an exciting time for our school. The pupils have been eagerly watching as the new building develops.

“As a reward for their hard work and good behaviour, we will be taking a small group of pupils to visit the site each week, to hear all about how the building is being constructed and the important jobs the building team have to carry out.

“The children are absolutely fascinated and so excited about their new school.”
